My Baby is two

Sydney has hit to big 2!!!! It is pretty crazy to think she is 2. She is such a beautiful little girl. We had a birthday party the saturday after her actual birthday, but I wanted to make sure her birthday was special. She woke up to me singing happy birthday, and her favorite breakfast. Than we went to lunch with one of her bestest buds, Owen. At one of her favorite places, McDonald's. They had a blast, and she loved every minute of it. After lunch we went out to grandmas, Sydney did not want to take a nap. So I allowed it. Instead she watched Cinderella and ate popcorn in her crib. We than had her favorite dinner, ate cake, and opened presents. Her day was very special, just like her.
Her actual Birthday party was also a blast. We had friends come, and help us celebrate. We ate yummy food and just hung out. I had checked the weather forecast for that day, and it said sunny. So I planned activity's outside....well when I woke up, I found we were in the middle of a blizzard!! I panicked, and just about called off the party. The last thing I wanted, was for someone to get hurt coming to our place. Thankfully, it cleared up.... a bit. Everyone was troopers, and still showed. Sydney was spoiled and got such nice gifts. The theme was word world, it is Sydney's favorite t.v show. My good friend is AMAZING at making cakes. All of the characters on top of the cake are hand made. Not only is the cake freaking awesome, it tastes just as good. The fondant is not the nasty store bought kind, she actually goes the extra mile and makes it from scratch. I am certain in time she will be famous, so if you are looking for an original, affordable cake, by someone who will one day be a big deal let me know. She can do anything. Her name is Lindsy Tipa and her blog is http://nephiandlindsy.blogspot.com/ on there she has posted a few of her other cakes.
We got Sydney a bike for her birthday, and she totally loves it. She has a little bit of learning to do, but she is loving the idea.

Easter

This year Easter was tons of fun. Sydney, actually got the concept. Sadie on the other hand loves anything that has to do with food. So she was thrilled. We had the opportunity to have 3 Easter egg hunts. One we did on Friday morning at a car dealership with some friends. I somehow forgot my camera, so I did not get any pictures. On the way home I noticed signs for a Easter egg hunt, near our house the next morning. So The next morning we got up bright and early, and grandma was so nice to come. We made a super decision going to that Easter egg hunt! It was so much fun. At the Easter egg hunt they had the grass area sectioned off for egg groups. Well in Sydney and Sadie's age group there was literally only 4 kids! Sydney had practice the day before so she was ready to go. Sydney got so into it, and ended up getting like 30 eggs. Most of the eggs were filled with candy, but a few had numbers in them. If you got one like that, you got a prize. Sydney got two! Sadie also had a blast. Grandma would lift her down to the egg, and Sadie would pick them up and put them in the basket! It was adorable. On Sunday morning we did a mini egg hunt, and just hung out as family. Sydney and Sadie are so cute. We went to church at 1, and that is hard. It is right during nap time, so the girls are anything but bundles of joy! By the end it gets ugly. As you can tell by the pictures Sydney was DONE! But we loaded them back in the car, and went to Grandma Roberts house for a yummy Easter dinner. Sydney loves being at her house. I love Easter, and I am so thankful for the knowledge that our Savior lives! I love that I can pass this wonderful news onto my children.

Sadie loved grandmas help, and Sydney loved the eggs

Sadie was very protective over her basket....and Sydney was loving putting confetti on Sadie's Head

Like I said 1 o clock church is hard, and Sydney was not up for the pictures I wanted to take....so she ran away...to grandmas house ( I guess she forgot they went home that morning)

so sadie and I took some pictures, and Sadie completed eating the grass

Sadie 10 Months

I know that every parent insists there is not a favorite month....BUT 10 months has for sure been my favorite! This month Sadie has really blossomed. She is just so much fun. She officially started crawling this month, but has convinced herself that I do not know. Because when I catch her in the act she hurries and assumes the sit up position and begins rocking. She says more, and ya. It usually goes like this
Me- "Sadie are you hungry"
Sadie- "ya"
Me- "Sadie would you like more"
Sadie- "MORE"(Hands clapping and head nodding)
Her favorite thing in the morning to do is if dad is still home, to go see him and point at him and say "dad"
I have no clue where she got the pointing thing from. It can be really funny or really awkward. Funny when she is doing it to dad. Awkward when she is doing it to the least sociable old man in the grocery store. The other night we were walkin inside, and the entire time she was just pointing at the moon. She was fascinated with it. oh man I love this spoiled little girl! Also she got to have her pictures taken.
